Bamboo Airways Brings First Macao Flight to Phu Cat
Bamboo Airways brought 183 passengers from Macao to Phu Cat on October 25, with another flight scheduled for October 29.
Bamboo Airways brought 183 passengers from Macao to Phu Cat Airport on October 25, 2026, marking the first direct flight on the route to Quy Nhon in Gia Lai province.

Flight QH9585 carried a group beginning a five-day, four-night trip through Quy Nhon and Pleiku. Gia Lai officials and representatives of Bamboo Airways and FLC Group greeted the passengers at the airport.
A Bamboo Airways representative described the arrival as a foundation for expanding international connections to Quy Nhon.
The next Macao flight is scheduled for October 29. The report also says Phu Cat’s second runway, built to international standards, is due to open that day following the introduction of its T2 terminal. These are scheduled developments; the October 25 arrival does not mean the runway has already opened.
