Duong Dong: bank offices for a town visit

If you are already going into Duong Dong, these offices have current addresses in their banks’ directories:

Sacombank lists number 52B on 30/4 Street. Use that full street number rather than assuming an old listing at “52” identifies the exact premises. The directories now identify Phu Quoc under An Giang; the Duong Dong locality and street are the practical details to match in navigation.

Tell the bank that you want to sell foreign banknotes for dong, and name the currency and denomination. Regular office hours do not guarantee acceptance of every note or immediate availability of every service. Ask about identification, fees and any cash-service cut-off before travelling from a resort.

An Thoi and the south: do not start with a cross-island errand

These are staffed transaction-office listings, not a claim that an ATM operates a foreign-cash exchange service. If you are staying in the south or visiting Sunset Town, compare the route to these Nguyen Van Cu addresses with a journey to Duong Dong. Confirm the cash service first; a shorter journey only helps if the office can handle your notes.

Both banks publish split weekday sessions for these offices. Keep the midday break and weekend closure in your planning. Do not fit an unconfirmed exchange into the last few minutes before a boat excursion or a prepaid activity.

Hotel agents around Long Beach, Ong Lang and the north

Do not travel to a resort solely because the reception operates overnight, and do not assume a hotel’s convenience quote is better or worse without comparing the net VND amount.

An appointed-agent list is not the same as a general jewellery-store list. We do not repeat an “almost all currencies” promise for pearl shops, tourist centres or every branch of a bank. A business name or an old recommendation needs a current service check before it becomes your cash plan.

Airport and late-arrival planning

Before travelling, confirm how you will pay for your airport transfer and first accommodation expenses. If these are prepaid or payable by card, your immediate cash requirement may be smaller.
