October Concerts Lift Flight Bookings in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City

Flight and hotel bookings rose around October concerts in both Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, according to figures reported by Trip.com. The increases cluster around specific show dates; they describe activity on one travel platform, not total market demand or current availability across either city.

Hanoi: demand centers on October 24–25

BIGBANG is scheduled to perform at My Dinh National Stadium on October 24 and 25. Trip.com reported that flight bookings to Hanoi for October 23–26 were 74% higher than for the same dates in 2025. Overall October bookings for Hanoi on the platform were up 45%.

The reported hotel figures were more concentrated around the shows: reservations for October 23 and 24 reached 15 times the platform’s normal rate for the month. The report also said hotels within three kilometres of My Dinh had already been fully booked as early as July 29. That is a dated booking snapshot, not a claim that every Hanoi hotel is now full.

Ho Chi Minh City has a separate mid-month peak

Two concerts—Tinh Ha Say Hi and Call Me by Fire Vietnam—are scheduled in Ho Chi Minh City on October 17 and 18. Trip.com reported flight bookings for October 16–19 up 77% year on year, while hotel reservations for October 16 and 17 were up 621% from the same dates in 2025.

The figures can help explain why nearby travel dates may be harder to arrange, but they do not show whether tickets remain available or how much inventory other booking platforms and hotels have. Travelers whose dates are flexible can compare options outside the concert nights; anyone already booked should confirm the reservation directly with the hotel or airline.
