Phu Quoc Welcomes 1.92 Million Foreign Visitors in First Nine Months of 2026
Phu Quoc recorded an estimated 1.92 million international arrivals through September 2026; September alone brought 208,447 visitors.
Phu Quoc received an estimated 208,447 international visitors in September 2026, 85.2% more than in September 2025. An Giang’s Department of Tourism puts the island’s total for January through September at 1.92 million international visitors, up about 60% year on year.

September falls during Phu Quoc’s rainy season, so the figures show that foreign arrivals continued through that period—not that weather, sea conditions or crowd levels will suit every trip. A nine-month total is useful context for the island’s current visitor market, but it cannot predict conditions on a particular date.
