Overview

Leave Hanoi for a day among Ninh Binh’s limestone peaks, rivers and rice fields. See the landscape from a sampan with a local rower, then visit Hoa Lu to learn about Vietnam’s early capital. A Vietnamese lunch and a stop at a farmer’s home or a craft village bring you closer to everyday life here.

Choose Tam Coc for a boat ride along the Ngo Dong River, or Trang An for its cave-lined waterways. Both routes include Mua Cave’s mountain views, optional countryside cycling and tea at a farmer’s home. The third route begins at Quang Phu Cau Incense Village before continuing to Tam Coc and Hoa Lu.

Climb approximately 500 stone steps to the mountain viewpoint for panoramic views of Tam Coc and the surrounding limestone landscape. Continue on a countryside bike ride past villages and rice fields. Cycling is optional: you may remain in the van or arrange a motorbike with a private driver to reach the farmer’s home.

Adults aged 10 and over pay the adult rate. Children aged 5–9 pay exactly 75% of the selected adult unit price.
One child under 5 travels free per booking when there are at least two adults; all other children under 5 pay 75% of the adult unit price.
