Vietnam Airlines Wins World’s Best Culinary Airline Award
Vietnam Airlines won the 2026 World’s Best Culinary Airline award. Its onboard menus still vary by cabin, route, season and aircraft.
Vietnam Airlines has won the World’s Best Culinary Airline award at the 2026 World Culinary Awards. The result was announced at the awards’ seventh annual ceremony in Jamaica on October 14.

The win ended Air France’s run of wins dating from 2022. Other contenders included Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific and Turkish Airlines.
Regional dishes on the menu
The carrier combines Vietnamese regional dishes with international food. Its business-class menus on flights between Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City include Hanoi-style grilled pork with rice noodles, Quang-style noodles and cao lau.
The report also lists pho on business-class flights from San Francisco to Ho Chi Minh City, and bibimbap and bulgogi on routes between Vietnam and South Korea. Economy-class menus combine Vietnamese and international dishes too.
These are examples rather than a single menu for every flight: meals vary by travel class, route, season and aircraft.
