Vietnam Railways has introduced refurbished SNT1/SNT2 trains on the Ho Chi Minh City–Nha Trang route, including updated sleeper cars and onboard facilities.
Vietnam Railways has introduced upgraded SNT1/SNT2 trains on the Ho Chi Minh City–Nha Trang route after a launch ceremony on the evening of October 12. The 32-carriage service includes four-berth and six-berth sleeper cars and a dining car.

The refurbishment gives the carriages cream and sea-blue interiors, new bedding and curtains, improved lighting and sound systems, Wi-Fi and continuously operating security cameras. Carriage No. 11907 has a redesigned air-conditioning distribution system intended to reduce noise and let passengers adjust the temperature.
Some 24-berth soft-sleeper carriages also have check-in areas and vending machines. Train managers and attendants have received customer-service training, including help for passengers in English.
The Railway Transport Joint Stock Company said the upgrades are intended to meet growing travel demand and make rail journeys between Ho Chi Minh City and Nha Trang more appealing. The report does not give fares, a timetable or service frequency for the upgraded trains.
