On March 15, 2022, according to Resolution No. 32/NQ-CP Vietnam implemented visa exemption for citizens of 13 countries, namely the Federal Republic of Germany, Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, the Russian Federation, Japan, Korea, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Belarus with a time limit of not more than 15 days each time you enter Vietnam.
From August 15, 2023, Vietnam’s entry regulations have allowed citizens of some countries in the world to be exempted from visas to enter Vietnam. 45 days, 3 times higher than the previous period of 15 days. Previously, the National Assembly passed the Law amending and supplementing several articles of the Law on the exit and entry of Vietnamese citizens and the Law on entry, exit, transit, and residence of foreigners in Vietnam. Accordingly, the temporary stay period for citizens of the country unilaterally exempted from Vietnam visa 2023 is extended to 45 days, an increase of 30 days compared to the time limit specified in the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence. of Foreigners in Vietnam in 2014.
Vietnam's E-visa validity period is changed from 30 to 90 days
