Gia Lai Estimates 13.51 Million Tourist Visits in First Nine Months of 2026
By September, Gia Lai had reached 90% of its annual tourist-visit plan and 83.5% of its receipts target.
Gia Lai estimates that it received 13.51 million tourist visits in January–September 2026, about 25% more than in the same period last year. Estimated tourism receipts reached VND29.21 trillion, up about 24.6% year-on-year.

The figures were presented at a provincial briefing on October 20. The nine-month visit total reached 90% of Gia Lai’s annual plan, while estimated receipts reached 83.5%. These are estimates of tourist visits, not a count of unique individuals.
For the third quarter alone, Gia Lai estimated about 4.755 million tourist visits, 25.3% above the same quarter a year earlier. Tourism receipts for the quarter were estimated at VND10.2 trillion, up 26%.
The province also has a community-tourism development program for 2026–2030, including planned support for local infrastructure and promotion.
