Travel Businesses Explore Russian-Market Packages for Quang Tri
A recent familiarisation visit brought Russian- and Korean-market travel businesses to Dong Hoi and Phong Nha as operators develop a proposed Russian itinerary for Quang Tri.
A recent familiarisation visit to Quang Tri brought 16 travel-business, international-operator and airline-partner representatives to survey tourism services in Dong Hoi and Phong Nha. Operators serving the Russian market are developing proposed three-day, two-night packages that could extend existing itineraries into the province from November 2026 via the Cam Ranh–Dong Hoi air route.

A product plan, not a booking announcement
The visit was organised by the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association and included travel companies, international tourism operators and airline partners focused on Russian and South Korean visitors. The group surveyed attractions, accommodation, restaurants and other tourism services in Dong Hoi and Phong Nha to assess possible itineraries.
The report describes the Russian-market packages as being developed for a possible November start. It does not provide public departure dates, prices, booking details or confirmation that the proposed packages are on sale. The reported interest in expanding the itinerary should therefore be treated as tourism-product planning, not a confirmed new flight or bookable tour.
For visitors already considering the area, our Dong Hoi guide covers established city stops before or after a trip to Phong Nha.
