8 Things to Do in Ho Tram Beyond the Pool

Choose a Ho Tram outing by access, booking needs and time: beaches, Minera hot springs, fishing-port scenery, golf, workshops and indoor activities.

For a short break in Ho Tram, choose one substantial outing and leave the rest of the day flexible. Minera’s hot springs need a ticket decision; golf needs a tee time; a beach walk depends on access and conditions. These are different kinds of plans, not eight stops to squeeze into one day.

The suggested time blocks below are planning advice, not operator-guaranteed durations. Arrange the return transport before leaving your resort. Start with the destination guide if you are still deciding where to stay.

1. Walk the Ho Tram Shoreline

A beach walk is the simplest addition to a resort stay. Use your property’s designated access, or identify a permitted public entrance before setting out. A stretch of sand on a map does not establish a right to walk through private resort grounds or use its pool, loungers and showers.

Keep this flexible rather than booking around a promised empty beach or sunset. Swimming is a separate decision: ask about patrol coverage, flags and current conditions, and stay out when swimming is prohibited. 2. Make a Coastal Stop at Ho Coc

Ho Coc is the neighboring coastal area north of Ho Tram, not south. Angsana includes it in its local-attractions information. Choose it for a change of shoreline and coastal scenery rather than assuming it guarantees quieter or safer water.

For a stop away from your hotel, confirm the actual entrance, parking and whether showers or seating require payment. Allow a flexible hour or two if you want time to walk and stop for refreshments; do not treat that as a ticketed tour duration. 3. Reserve a Half-Day for Minera Hot Springs Binh Chau

Minera is a more structured outing. Its official Minera Springs ticket page, checked on 1 October 2026, lists 870,000 VND per guest and 610,000 VND per child, with opening hours of 09:00–21:00. The page lists mineral-pool, Japanese onsen, around-the-world spa and mud-bath experiences, plus a complimentary Minera Forest ticket.

The listed ticket excludes food and drink, massage, body scrub and, as stated by the operator, 10% VAT. Confirm the final amount, child eligibility and included areas for your date before paying. 4. See Binh Chau’s Fishing-Port Setting

Angsana’s local-attractions page identifies Binh Chau Fishing Port as a seafood-trading hub and a place to see local fishing life. Treat it as a working area, not a scheduled tourist performance. Boat arrivals and access depend on real operations; this guide does not promise a fish landing at 06:00 or a buy-from-the-boat cooking service.

Ask your resort or driver which public areas can be visited and whether access is suitable on the day. Stay clear of loading activity and wet working surfaces, and ask before photographing people closely. It is a better fit for a short, flexible stop than a rigid timed excursion with small children.

5. Book a Round at The Bluffs

The Bluffs is the Greg Norman-designed course associated with The Grand Ho Tram. Use the course’s own tee-time booking page to check the date, time and current rate. A hotel stay does not automatically include a round.

Ask what the quote includes, such as equipment rental and any caddie or cart charges, and agree transport around the actual tee time. Golf should be the main activity in its time block, not an unscheduled stop between several attractions. Non-playing visitors should ask about permitted access rather than entering the course to take photographs.

6. Choose a Resort Workshop

A creative activity can avoid another car journey. Melia’s Kidsdom page lists games and painting or craft sessions, with some activities charged separately and advance booking requested for morning activities. Parents or guardians must accompany children; this is not babysitting.

Angsana also lists creative and nature-led activities in its experience program. Ask your own property for the current calendar, age suitability, fee and whether an activity is open to non-staying guests. Do not arrive at a different resort assuming its program is public.

7. Plan a Seafood Meal Outside Your Hotel

Angsana identifies Ho Tram’s local night street and Binh Chau’s fishing community as food options. Pick a meal stop based on where you are staying and how you will get back, not an unverified promise that every roadside meal costs less than a resort dish.

Before ordering seafood sold by weight, agree the unit price, weight, cooking charge and total. Explain allergies before food is prepared. This article does not supply a fixed two-person budget because no current, comparable menu was verified.

8. Keep an Indoor Option at The Grand

The Grand’s activity listings include a cinema and Game Zone at Holiday Inn Resort, alongside the Kids Quarter. Check the film language, screening time, age suitability, access and charge with the property before traveling there.

This is an option to investigate when beach conditions are poor, not a guarantee that every facility is operating or included in another hotel’s rate. Families can compare resort facilities and children’s age rules before choosing a base.

Combine Stops Without Spending the Day in a Car

Keep Ho Tram–Ho Coc coastal stops together; make Minera the main purpose of a separate half-day. Book golf or a workshop around the operator’s confirmed slot. Binh Chau–Phuoc Buu is a protected nature reserve: a general attraction listing is not permission to enter any forest trail, and Minera Forest is not the same admission product.
